KYOTO IJUKUPrep School Website
Branding That Does Not Over-Communicate but Directly Conveys the Strength of “Quality”
With a thoroughly customized curriculum, “KYOTO IJUKU” is a medical prep school that boasts a high passing rate. Total rebranding was carried out from the school name, the logo, and advertising visuals to interior decoration, and FOURDIGIT was responsible for building the website. We designed a communication strategy and developed a design system to convey the outstanding strength of custom-made “quality” on the web. We directed the content creation to convey the concepts.

Understanding the Business and Users Through Repeated Research, Workshop, and Analysis
In order to understand the business and users, we conducted interviews and workshops to explore value propositions and extracted detailed issues through heuristic and log data analysis. We developed the concept “You will surely change,” which appeals to both examinees and their parents. We built a communication system centered on “You” which directly conveys the school’s high-quality custom-made curriculum, its support system, and the instructors’ passion.
Content Planning That Does Not Over-Communicate
Products of high quality do not need over-communication. We reviewed “over-communication” that was customary in the industry and created content that directly communicates the required information in a simple manner. In order to convey the high quality, we set the design theme to have a “clean and imposing appearance” and arranged the carefully selected words and photos in a straight manner. The interface was also designed to be simple to give users a clean impression. In addition, since the user base was examinees, the design was primarily tailored for smartphones. Still, we designed it in a way that allows users to have similar experiences from different devices.
