Queen Sirikit National Convention CenterFacility Web site

Modern redesign while valuing Thai pride and tradition

The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. The facility, which opened in 1991 and bore the name of the Queen at that time, is currently undergoing extensive renovation work. It is scheduled to be completed in August 2022 as one of the largest convention centers in Southeast Asia. The scale will be five times larger, and the facility can be used by 100,000 people a day. FOURDIGIT Thailand was in charge of the website renewal accompanying the facility renewal. While cherishing the venerable QSNCC identity, we have redesigned it to make it easier for all users to use.

Achieve world-class hospitality on the website

QSNCC was built in 1991 as the venue for the 46th Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund. It incorporated the essence of Thai culture and traditions in architecture and decoration, with high hospitality and state-of-the-art equipment. The website of QSNCC, which represents Thailand, is also required to have hospitality to serve users from all over the world. We aimed to make it easy to use for all users of the facility, including visitors, exhibitors, and event organizers.

Fusion of dignity of historic facilities and a modern interface

The design concept is "fusion of tradition and modernity". We aimed to convey the identity of QSNCC, which can be said to be the pride of Thailand, through the website by fusing the profoundness of the historic facility with the modern interface design. Not only the visual beauty but also usability for users all over the world has been realized. In addition to ensuring updatability with a world-standard CMS, we have created a high-quality digital experience with detailed technology-based support such as security and SEO measures.

Aiming for omnichannel communication starting from website

We will also update the website toward the completion of the facility in August 2022. Features such as event calendars, virtual tours, electronic catalogs and blogs will be added. In the future, we will realize omnichannel content marketing starting from the website.
