Redesign Based on Business and Culture. Portraying Trust on the Corporate Site.
The corporate website of Japan Weather Association, a pioneer of weather consulting in Japan. In this redesign, there were three tasks: to create the appearance of being a weather consulting company, to organize service information, and to redefine the role of the corporate site. By exhibiting a sense of scale and trust, we created communication design specialized for B2B.

Expressing Reliability as a Consulting Company
The company is a “professional partner” which provides not only weather information but also comprehensive consulting with advanced technology. However, for various businesses, the services were complicated and such content was hard to deliver. There was also an issue in relation to creating the appearance of being a consultant.
With the redesign theme of “be imaginable”, we conveyed the company’s sense of scale, spirit of innovation, and technology which is close to people’s daily lives by utilizing both visual and textual information. We aimed to create a corporate site which expands users’ imaginations.

Organizing Service Information Through Joint Workshops
In order to organize the complex service content, we held joint workshops with the client. We reorganized the services which had previously been sorted by business division based on their provided value so that such can be easily understood by users. As a result, it became possible to create strategic information design with the assumption of approaching new customers while still being comprehensive.
“Bird’s-eye View” that Conveys an Overwhelming Sense of Scale and the Corporate Message
In order to convey the overwhelming sense of scale of the weather consulting business from the visual aspect as well, we adopted images having a “Bird’s-eye View”. Based on the company’s message of “Harmonability: a society that is harmonized with the natural world”, we took pictures and created from the perspective of seeing the coexistence between people and nature.
In addition, we expressed the appearance of being a consulting company by coloring with a reduced amount of information, basic and sharp typography, and a dignified layout. We built a design system and created a comprehensive and highly operational design.
